Silver Blaze Race in Toronto Canada

    "To Toronto, " Sherlock Holmes replied. "To Woodbine Race Track, for the twelfth annual running of the Silver Blaze Race. By the way, Watson, you know something of racing?"
     "I ought to.  I pay for it with about half my wound pension."
     "Then I'll make you my 'Handy Guide to the Turf.' These are the facts, stripped of all surmise and conjecture. The event is being organised by The Bootmakers of Toronto and will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, July 17, 1999 at the Woodbine Race Track at 555 Rexdale Boulevard in Etobikoke. The cost of $33.00 per person includes the complete admission fee, an exciting  programme of thoroughbred horse races, and a sumptuous buffet luncheon. Not only that, but GST is included! The buffet begins at noon. Post time is 1 P.M. There will be a random drawing for 6 persons to present the Wessex Trophy in the Winner's Circle to an appreciative albeit sometimes bewildered owner."
    "I should be most happy to go down with you if I should not be in the way," said I.
    "My dear Watson, you would confer a great favour upon me by coming."
